About Horizons Therapy Clinic
Supporting families, individuals and NDIS participants with compassion, clarity and real-world expertise
My name is Emily, and I founded Horizons Therapy Clinic over 15 years ago with one simple intention: to support people through the moments in life that feel heavy, confusing or overwhelming.

I’m formally qualified in Psychology, Counselling, Autism, Auslan and Behaviour Support, and for more than a decade I’ve worked with individuals and families across areas such as relationship challenges, trauma and PTSD, family conflict, grief, emotional regulation, and substance misuse.

Over the past four years, my work has focused strongly within the NDIS sector, where I support children, adolescents and adults through:
-
Behaviour Support
-
Counselling
-
Parent coaching and mentoring
-
Emotional regulation and trauma-informed practice
-
Capacity building for families, carers and support teams
As both a trained professional and a parent of a child with autism, I bring lived experience, practical insight and deep empathy into every session.
My approach is warm, strengths-based and client-centred — focused on helping each person move towards greater wellbeing, confidence and independence.

At Horizons, every client is valued, heard and supported. My passion is helping people make meaningful change, build skills, and reach the goals that matter most to them.
